GRUB - BISCUIT IN THE SKY
Spray skillet with non stick
buttery cooking spray and when hot, add one biscuit that has been
rolled out as flat as possible.
Cook until golden brown, then
carefully flip with your trusty campfire spatula.
While this side of the biscuit
is browning, add a few tablespoons of canned apple pie filling to
one side of the biscuit.
Carefully fold over the biscuit and seal
edges carefully with the tines of a long fork.
Remove and dust with powdered
sugar OR regular sugar. May also be dusted with cinnamon. Add
more filling to the tip of the biscuit and build your pie as high
as the sky, if desired.
Cherry pie filling, lemon pie
filling, blueberry pie filling and strawberry pie filling all work
equally well.
And for those watching their waistline
and/or your sugar intake, there are many sugar free versions of
pie filling at the market these days that revel the taste of sugar-loaded
fillings.
