TUBING IN THE GREAT OUTDOORS
Tubing is one of the cheaper outdoor activities
- although one of the funnest! Get your innertube at your local
sporting good's store - and make sure that it's a good fit as they
do come in different sizes.
Although it is rare that pets
can participate in water play, tubing is one activity that most
dogs do enjoy. Dogs are natural born swimmers, and in my experience,
they like to ride on the back of the innertube, like a fox stole
on your shoulders (though my fox stole would definitely be a fake
one....).
I once got pulled into some scary
rapids while innertubing, so be sure to know the water source well
before striking out.
As always when playing outdoors, apply sunscreen
and protect your head, lips and ears - those sensitive areas where
skin and sun meet - and where Mr. Sun likes to nibble.
